Setsuko Maho

Setsuko Maho is a Japanese artist and printmaker based in Rotterdam. Her printmaking journey began in Osaka and continued in London and Tokyo before settling in the Netherlands.
Her work is playful, bold, and full of humour, often using screen printing and print-based processes. She creates her own unique graphic compositions that combine shapes, lines, and colour as making hand-drawn collages. She is inspired by sudden intuitions and fleeting thoughts drawn from everyday life, she describes as a “diary of memories.”
